We were excited to serve this busy Cedar Park family with a thoughtful renovation to enhance both function and style. The focus areas for the remodel included the kitchen, primary bath, and kids’ bath, along with converting a den into a dedicated home office.

In the kitchen, a design priority was to create a larger and more inviting island, and get rid of the double island (prep island with larger L-shaped island around it). We replaced them with one large island with two sides of overhang for seating. Our clients selected beautiful frameless wood cabinetry, quartz counters, and modern black fixtures to create a warm yet contemporary feel. For a splash of color, we suggested a beautiful hexagonal blue marble look tile for the main backsplash, with a similarly colored and slightly more modern looking accent tile for the coffee station. Floating shelves and new lighting add convenience, personality and character, while professional-grade appliances complete the transformation.

The primary bathroom was reimagined as a spa retreat, replacing a large garden tub with a small freestanding soaking tub, swapping space for an expanded walk-in shower, all interconnected with a striking navy accent wall in a herringbone pattern.

Creating alignment throughout the home, we used the same style of cabinetry for the primary and guest baths, and similar navy tiles in both bathrooms as well.

The kids’ bathroom brings fun and energy with bold geometric floor tile, a dual-sink vanity for hectic mornings, and a tiled tub-shower with a modern sliding glass door.

Finally, the front den was enclosed to create a functional home office, building in walls with French doors and a transom window to bring in light and connect the office area with the home—providing the perfect balance of privacy and productivity.
